Welcome to our monthly newsletter - here we 'spotlight a time saving feature' you may not be aware is available, and we'll give a brief update on any changes recently made!

Updating multiple jobs at once

If you need to update the same details on multiple jobs, this feature is a fantastic time saver. For example, if you need to add the same job details or job notes to several different jobs, or you need to mark them all as closed, this feature, available from the live job screen can save hours.

Dashboard shows recently accessed jobs and quotes
The new dashboard shows your recently accessed jobs and quotes and you can re access them with a simple mouse click.
If you don't yet have the new dashboard switched on, email or call us and we'd be happy to show you how to enable this and tailor it to your needs. This handy video will also give you a little guide.

Copy or remove notes when converting a quote to a job
If you are using the newer versions of the quote screen and job screen, a new switch in the control panel now enables you to define if the notes from your quote are copied across to the job at the time of conversion.
To change this setting:
Control Panel → Program Features → Additional Features → Quotes tab Tick or untick “Do Not Convert Notes to Jobs”
Please note: This is a system-wide setting, so any changes will apply to all your Job Tracker users.

Right Click To Quickly Convert and Email your documents
In the documents tab in the new version of the jobs screen, once you've created your document, simply right click on the relevant row and select 'Convert to PDF. This will create the PDF and show the details in the grid. Right click on the PDF row in the grid and select 'Email Document'.
