Welcome to our April edition of the monthly Job Tracker Pro newsletter - here we 'spotlight a time-saving feature' you may not be aware is available, and we'll give a brief update on any changes recently made!

🌟 Featured Feature
Cloning rules - for jobs or quotes
Running a busy service business often means creating the same or similar jobs and quotes, again and again.
With Job Tracker you can clone a job or quote at the touch of a button and also create rules to determine what information is copied across or inserted by default on cloned jobs or quotes.
Re-entering the same information wastes valuable time and increases the risk of mistakes. This Job Tracker Professional feature helps resolve such issues. This also works
whether you are using the new versions of the quotes and jobs screens, or the legacy versions.

🆕 Latest Updates
View all jobs or quotes for a specific client or customer.
From the contacts screen there's a handy screen showing all quotes or jobs for a specific contact.
- Access the contacts screen from the home screen of Job Tracker or from the new dashboard, alternatively click the CRM button next to the customer or client in the job screen.
- Once in the contacts screen, click the history tab at the top of the screen.

Use the radio buttons to filter between jobs or quotes and also choose whether to show all records or just open ones. Other filters also exist to specify a certain date range, job status or job category.
- If you double click the job number in the column on the left, this will open the job for you to view and edit.

Choose which items appear on your quote.
With our most recent update, we have ensured that if you are using the new version of the quote screen, after adding materials to your quote, no specific items are
left selected. This means that when you print the quote (or create the quote document), all items will be included by default.
If, however, you want to produce a quote document showing only specific items from the parts list you have assigned, simply highlight the relevant rows in your parts list,
then produce your quote in the usual way.

New modern Jobs screen and Quotes screen.
Many of our customers have now moved to using the new versions of the Quote screen and Jobs screen.
These utilise newer technology and allow for continued development of new features, whilst enabling you to still record the data relevant to your business.
If you have not yet moved to using these new screens but would like to know more, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

The transition is smooth and you can keep all the personalised features you currently use.
